Bought these ear plugs to use riding my Motorcycle. First used the red insert’s.
Then purchased the Black. What a difference 😃👍👍 The Black inserts cut out more wind noise etc. Perfect.
Excellent product as always ,been using for years very comfortable,but advise to purchase silicon holder for ear plugs so you don’t lose them ,as I have done in past.
I went for the Moto Pro ultra max (27db) expecting that the large would fit perfectly. I usually use 33db foamies and find them the best, but they deaden all sound, and sometimes make hearing the intercoms at high speed difficult.
Now, with every earplug, seating in the ear is critical. Any creases, folds or gaps, no matter how tiny, will render them as good as useless. I have a bike with a screen and the wind noise is horrendous. With foamies seated correctly, it makes the ride tolerable. When I tried these Moto Pros, I was initially dubious as I still could hear sounds when they were inserted, but amazingly they worked. Wind noise wasn't completely eliminated, but the thudding resonance was and I was amazed by that. I could also hear music/intercoms more clearly.
For some people on bikes with screens and fairings, your mileage will vary, but on naked bikes, this is where the Earpeace's are almost miraculous (27db version) - all windnoise disappears on 'clean' bikes.
I'm glad that they sent two different sized sets in the order, as in the end, the mediums worked better for me.
They're expensive, but if they work...
I previously had the standard moto Earplugs with black filters fitted. I was more than happy with them and was considering doing a straight replacement of them having had them for 3 years. I was pleased to see it was able to get the Moto Pro with the max filters. I hoped the revised shape would further improve the fit. In short I've been very pleased both with the fit and reduce wind noise. Not cheap when compared with the many similar designs, but I feel these moto pros are worth the money.
Ordered standard motorcycle ear protectors that just didn't work for me.
Replaced with higher dB reduction set for postage only. These work much better for me than the original type did.
